Emily Block was born in Portland, Oregon, where she stayed right up through college. She graduated from
Lewis & Clark College in December 2009 with a BA in Chinese and French, and is currently goofing around in
Beijing, China, where she splits her time between interning, eating cheap noodles,
and having mini-adventures around town with her buddies.
